The Able Series 2001 & 2002 is a automatic/manual swing door operator that creates a barrier free opening for the disabled and physically challenged, while still providing a useable manual entrance to everyone else. it maybe installed on existing swing doors. This low energy, slow-opening swing operator has an adjustable time delay to hold door in open position 8-65 seconds which meets ADA requirements ANSI 156.19

The ABLE operators are heavy duty, low energy, self contained, electromechanical design. They are powered open with a permanent magnet DC motor working through the Total Cog Belt Drive System. Closing controlled by spring force. The motor is turned off in the closing mode. The door can be manually operated with the power on or off without damage to the operator. Opening and closing force of the ABLE 2001 is 8lbs.

Opening and closing force for the ABLE 2002 is 15 lbs. maximum. The Able 2002 has a mechanical positive stop. All operators have a load limiting friction clutch for safety to user. operators have time delay from 8 seconds to 65 seconds. Power consumption shall not exceed 1/2 amp at 120VAC. Switch voltage is 24 VAC Class II. Enclosure is 1/4" aluminum back plate with 24" or 28" Fiberglass cover flame tested to UL94.5AV. Activation shall be push button, remote transmitter, digital key pads, motion detectors, and or mats.
